Choosing the Form
Each design is composed for the line of the glass form; the pattern adapts to the piece.
Composing the Pattern
Motifs inspired by Ottoman glass decoration art are drawn onto the glass by hand — no stencils.
Enamel & Gold
Enamel paints are built up layer by layer; contours and highlights are finished in real gold.
Kiln Firing
The piece is kiln-fired, fixing the paint permanently and bringing out the gold's luster.

What is Bernart Glass Atelier?
Bernart Glass Atelier is glass artist Berna Çankaya's atelier in Istanbul. Motifs inspired by Ottoman glass decoration are painted by hand on glass using enamel paints and genuine 24-karat gold.
How do I place an order?
Choose a collection piece and, where available, a size option, then add it to your cart. Enter your delivery and card details on Shopier's secure page. Your order is confirmed after payment is approved.
How long does delivery take?
Ready collection pieces are dispatched within 1–2 business days after payment approval. Shipping within Turkey is free; delivery usually takes another 1–3 business days after dispatch.
Can I commission a personal glass piece?
Use the Commissions page to share your preferred form, colors, motifs and any personal dedication. Hand-painting and kiln-firing usually take 2–4 weeks after design approval.
How should I care for hand-painted glass?
Hand-wash with lukewarm water and a soft sponge. Avoid dishwashers, abrasive cleaners and sudden temperature changes, and dry with a soft cloth.
